Dr. Nina Byrnes Appointed Medical Consultant with Hidden Hearing

Dr. Nina Byrnes, leading GP and presenter of the RTE Programme ‘Health of the Nation’ and Sunday Business Post columnist, has been appointed as Medical Consultant with Hidden Hearing.
Appointed to this role in September 2010, Dr. Nina Byrnes works closely with Hidden Hearing to promote better hearing health to the public and medical community.

Meet The Management Team

Stephen Leddy, Managing Director

Stephen qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1995. He joined Hidden Hearing in 2000 as Financial Controller and was appointed Managing Director in 2002 at the age of 32. Since then he has worked tirelessly with his management team to position Hidden Hearing as Ireland’s leading hearing care provider. “It is our goal to provide not only the optimal hearing solution for our patients but also lifetime care with ongoing support and consultation in relation to hearing loss. Only then can we be satisfied with our service.”

Ken Viney, Commercial Director

Ken is Commercial Director of Hidden Hearing, having first joined the company as Manager of Northern Ireland in 1994. Over the past sixteen years, Ken has played a pivotal role in successfully growing Hidden Hearing to become Ireland’s premier private healthcare company, with over 30,000 customers and over 60 branches and clinics nationwide. To achieve this position, Ken introduced sweeping changes to the retail structure and advanced training of the staff.
As a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, Ken’s experience and extensive sector knowledge has helped shape Hidden Hearing’s customer-focused ethos. Dolores Madden, Marketing Manager

Dolores Madden has worked with Hidden Hearing for the past twenty-one years, during which time she has played a pivotal role in the company’s development and success and raising awareness of hearing loss in Ireland. In 2001, Dolores was appointed Marketing Manager and is responsible for Hidden Hearing’s communication programme, including launching Ireland’s first ever national Hearing Awareness Week. As a qualified audiologist and accounting technician, Dolores brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen to the role. Hearing Awareness Week is now firmly established as a leading national campaign, helping to significantly raise the issue of hearing loss on the nation’s health agenda.
